India crush Bangladesh

Bangladesh decide to bat first after winning the toss at Mirpur...they forgot about the early movement of pitch...Zaheer and Ishant gave a steady start with quick wickets...they send half of bangladesh team to pavilion in 12 overs..

But India lost momentum once Mahmudullah came to the crease...The middle-order batsman, with the tail for company, hit an unbeaten 96 to lift Bangladesh beyond the 200-run mark with a solid display as Bangladesh - 127 for seven at one stage - finished 233 all out...

Ishant finished with four for 66 from 18 overs, while Zaheer had three for 62 from 19, the two seamers sharing the bulk of the wickets.

In reply, India's openers Virender Sehwag (41 not out) and Gautam Gambhir (26no) built a solid platform with an undefeated 69-run stand for the opening wicket in just 13 overs before play was brought to an early conclusion due to fading light...

Hope we will see some fire work in the 1st session...wait for tomorrow...

Cheers!

ICC U19 WC

Pakistan under-19s win by 2 wickets, they are absolutely thrilled with the win, the Indian players are shattered, so close yet so far. A wonderful contest...

Yet India got some talented cricketers from this series...Mandeep Singh, Mayank Agarwal, Rahul Kannaur, Sandeep Sharma, Saurabh Netravalkar, Gaurav Jathar, Manan Sharma, Ashok Maneria...surely you will find them playing for their respective teams...

Albeit what is the relation of this series with IPL...that is what we are thinking but not others, even the senior member of PCB...have you seen the statement of
PCB Chairman Ejaz Butt...have a look.."Win over India right answer to IPL snub"...its a U19 then why they are linking with IPL issue..it was another one....Team owners are responsible for this kind of issue, their is no reason to blame BCCI, Indian Team or players...it is totally senseless...
we can not stop this kind of politics...but still some one have to take the responsibilty..

KFC Twenty20 Big Bash

Victorian Bushrangers dominance of Twenty20 cricket was firmly established as they beat the Southern Redbacks by 48-runs in the KFC Big Bash finale on Saturday night...it was one sided, Southern were not at all in touch...clearly they were missing Shahid Afridi...even Pollard contribute a little bit but his inning not sufficient to take them on peak...

Stat:
Leading run scorer: Kevin Pollard (SR)
Leading wicket taker: John Hasting (NSW)

So the auction is complete, now wait for the action...
Pollard (as expected) get the highest money along with Shane Bond...Pollard will play with Sachin, a honour for him..even he accept this.
What about come back man Shane Bond...it is good to saw him in IPL...he will definitely prove his worth...no doubt in that.
Interesting to see Kemar Roach bidding...he got USD 720,000...will keep eye on him...albeit he was the highest wicket taken in Domestic T-20 league of West Indies...

Good to see some youngster in the list...Ashok Maneria (under-19 captain of India) and his team mates Harmeet Singh and Harshat Patel.

there is also a long list of some of unsold key players...majority from Pakistan..

where they will fall...

Talenders lift Bangladesh

Once again a promising inning of Mahmudullah help Bangladesh to lift their total almost equivalent to India..he perform well in the one dayers also...a kind of player in which Bangladesh can rely in future...under all this we can not put Rahim's inning in a side...
Right now match is almost in a middle level, it can tilted towards any side...at the end of the day Amit Mishra plays a fine 24...interesting to saw him hitting fours..
Albeit Shakib fails in the batting but he provide early break through again...good to see Gambhir hitting the ball well...

India should have to play aggressively to make the match alive...put 300+ in scoreboard and invite Bangladesh at least for 20 overs...

Wait and watch...

Cheers!

Watch out on Tuesday....

SACHIN-Again put India to a respective total

Sachin scored his 44th hundred and put India to a respective total...he again prove his worth...no doubt he is the undisputed king of cricket...truly the legend...the don...the god of cricket....

Talking about the team..thanx to Zaheer khan for his last few over..but we can't ignore the heart out performance of Bangladesh...they not only restrict India but even take wickets at regular interval...imagine what happens if Imrul Kayes wont drop Sachin's catch on 16 at wide slip..Thank god..

Shakib and Shahadat was on top...with a brilliant line and length they force strong Indian batting lineup to commit mistake...astounding performance...
Anyways there will be lot of action in upcoming three days...don't forget Bangladesh still have Ashraful and Shakib alive....
Hpoe for the best...

Cheers!
