ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier 2010- (Day-2)

UAE and Afghanistan book their place in super four on day two of qualifier event.They both beat the stronger and the favorites of this event.UAE continue their form by beating strong Neitherland side by 6 wickets.
On the other hand Afghanistan beat Scotland by 14 runs in a low scoring match.

In both the matches bowlers play an important role.Shapoor Zadran's remarkable bowling - he conceded just eight runs in four overs - held Scotland at bay to ensure Afghanistan an all but certain passage into the Super Fours.


For UAE it was Qasim Zubair, who took five wickets by conceding 24 runs in 4 overs and in the end captain Khurram Khan (52* off 35 balls) and Naeemuddin Aslam (60* off 48 balls) finish the game in style.


The other two match were in the favour of Kenya and Ireland - much expected - Kenya beat Canada by 9 wickets, with the help of devastating knock of Alex Obanda ( 79 from 48 balls) and Tikolo ( 50* from 36 balls)

After the jubilation of their unexpected win over Scotland, USA came crashing back down today as Niall O'Brien's 84 lifted Ireland to a massive 202 for 4 and set up a 78-run win. USA had slipped to 25 for 6 in their chase but Aditya Thyagarajan's unbeaten 72 saved USA's humiliation.
